Approve sign-ins with Face ID or your fingerprint, and keep your 2FA codes in one place. Install the app, then link it from Settings → Phone sign-in in Syndeo.

The app isn’t on the Play Store yet, so your browser will ask you to allow installing it. After that it updates itself automatically.
